Vital Records

Many vital records can be found in the St. Augustine Historical Library.
It should be your first place to search for older records --- this also includes Cathedral parish records.

However another place to get vital records (especially for the 20th century ) is
the
Office of Vital Statistics located at:
Dept of Health, PO Box 210, 1217 Pearl Street, Jacksonville FL 32231 (904) 359-6900.
Make your check payable to Office of Vital Statistics for the following :

Birth $9 (since 1865)
Death $5 (since Jan 1917)
Marriage and Divorce $5 (since June 6, 1927)
